Privacy and cookie policy

The site itself sets no cookies. To work, it keeps the following small records in your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) without asking for consent. They are not used to identify you or to show you ads:

• sah:consent (localStorage): your choice in the cookie banner, so that the banner is not shown again.
• sah:favorites and sah:compare (localStorage): your favourites and comparison list; stored only in this browser and never sent to our servers.
• sah_intro_seen (sessionStorage): that the welcome animation has been shown in this session.
• sah_ai_teaser_closed (sessionStorage): that you closed the assistant's intro bubble.
• sah_ai_chat (sessionStorage): your conversation with the assistant; deleted when you close the tab.

localStorage records remain until you clear your browser data; sessionStorage records are deleted when the tab is closed.

No analytics or statistics tool runs on the site at present. If a cookieless analytics tool (Umami) is added in future, it will run only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, it will be off by default, and this policy will be updated beforehand.

Analytics data is used as aggregate statistics only. It is not used for advertising, remarketing or profiling and is never sold to third parties.

Choosing “Essential only” is as easy as accepting and does not limit any feature of the site.

The “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer reopens the cookie banner, so you can change your choice at any time. Once you withdraw consent, the analytics tool is no longer loaded.

Alternatively, you can clear this site's data in your browser; the banner will then appear again, but your favourites and comparison list will also be deleted.

• Maps: map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org), which receives your IP address and the map area you view. On the search page the map opens only when you press “Map”; listing pages show a small location map.
• Listing photos and 360° images: loaded from our own server (Contabo, European Union); no third party is contacted for them.
• WhatsApp: at present the site only links to our office's WhatsApp number; no automated reply system runs on WhatsApp.
• WhatsApp and Google Maps links: when you click them, that service's page opens and its own privacy terms apply.
• Hosting and database: the site is hosted on a server operated by Contabo GmbH (Germany) and located in the European Union (France); the server keeps access logs for security. Form requests are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Frankfurt region).

The assistant runs on Anthropic's Claude model: for each question, your latest messages (up to 12) are sent to Anthropic PBC (USA) together with the site's own listing and office information to generate a reply. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models and deletes it within 30 days; content flagged for suspected misuse may be kept for up to 2 years. If Anthropic is unavailable, the question goes to Google's Gemini API as a backup, which currently runs on its free tier. In that case your latest messages (up to 12) are sent to Google together with the site's own listing and office information to generate a reply. Under Google's Gemini API terms (effective 23.03.2026), content sent on the free tier may be used to improve Google's products and may be read by human reviewers, so please do not write personal details to the assistant. Content may be processed in any country where Google has facilities.

Our site's server does not store the conversation. It is kept only in your own browser and is deleted when you close the tab; our server keeps only aggregate cost counters (token counts) that contain no message content.

If you press “Ask our consultant on WhatsApp”, the text of your question is placed into a WhatsApp message addressed to our number; it reaches us only when you press send in WhatsApp.

The assistant's answers are generated automatically and may contain errors; please confirm prices, legal and tax matters with your adviser. Do not share ID, passport or health information.

Information you enter in forms is used to reply to your enquiry; this relies not on your consent but on taking the steps your request requires (KVKK Art. 5/2-c). The checkbox in the form confirms that you have read the privacy notice.

New-listing, price and saved-search notifications are sent only if you tick a separate box that is never pre-ticked, and every notification lets you unsubscribe free of charge. These notifications are not sent until we are registered in the Message Management System (İYS) and your consent has been recorded there.

The site runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised office staff can access enquiry records.
